Something about myself.
Hi, my name is Jun. I'm a graphic designer with 6 years of experience in creating effective brand and advertising solutions through printed materials. My core task was to design visually appealing and impactful materials like name cards, brochures, banners, and more.
I'm passionate about helping businesses achieve their marketing goals by simplifying complex projects into visual designs that perfectly capture their brand identity. With a main focus on client satisfaction, I enjoy collaborating closely with clients to ensure they're thrilled with the final outcome.
Most importantly, I value having fun answering what customers are concerned about the designs. Making them feel at ease and comfortable during the process.
Deal with the career gap. New opportunity.
I spent 1 year and 3 months of working holiday in New Zealand. While this resulted in a year-long career gap, I have no regrets. I had a lot of wonderful times in New Zealand, it allowed me to gain experience, strengthening my interpersonal skills and commitment to social impact.
Upon returning, I decided to embark on a new career path and enrolled in a Google UX design course on Coursera. Before this, my knowledge of UX design was only full of designing the apps' interface, to make it look better.
But I was wrong, UX design is more than that. I quickly learned that UX design is much more than aesthetics, it's all about the user, only the users. It is similar to what I have done in previous years, a mobile app is also a way of advertising. It's always focused on understanding and meeting the customer's needs. Creating a fully functional and user-friendly app is a challenging and rewarding process that I really enjoy.
